Well, in true fashion life has gotten busier and the blog has fallen by the wayside. I can't believe it's been two weeks since I posted. In the past two weeks, we went on vacation, had Thanksgiving and I returned to work. I'll post more about our trip and Thanksgiving later.
My first week back to work hasn't been as terrible as I expected. In fact, it hasn't been terrible at all. Work has been pretty good, although incredibly busy. My position is two jobs in one- Librarian and Technology Specialist. This year, I lost my library clerk, so now it's three jobs in one. Fortunately my principal is working with me to alleviate some of the stress of the clerk responsibilities. That said, I still have to do some of the clerk duties and I'm trying to get caught up from missing three months. It's been kind of nice to be back in a routine, but I miss Emily terribly. She's staying with assorted family members between now and Christmas. In January, she will start with her babysitter.
We are having alot of fun with the Christmas season, even though I'm missing alot of it being back to work. It's going to be so much fun to experience Emily's first Christmas! This coming weekend we are going to visit Santa and do our traditional pizza and Christmas lights. We are so blessed to be able to enjoy this wonderful time of the year with our sweet baby girl!
